We are delighted to announce that after extensive research, testing and investment we can provide windows energy rated to Band C.

These energy efficient windows are identified using the table below which can also be found  on domestic appliances and electrical goods.

Developed in collaboration with European partners, the British Fenestration Rating Council system compares the overall energy performance of windows. It is based on the total annual energy flow (kWh/m2/yr).

Most windows have a negative rating: this indicates a net heat loss over the year.

The ratings are classified in bands A-G to make the system more consumer-friendly. In time, the BFRC Rating is expected to replace the U-value as the main UK method for specifying windows. More information on the BFRC Rating can be found at: www.bfrc.org
