Diamond Glass
appeared on national television in 2006 . We were contacted by the BBC
" DIY SOS " production team to assist in a programme being
made in our home town of Crawley, West Sussex.
For those not familiar with the
show, a team of experts headed by presenter Nick Knowles go to people's
houses and fix their DIY disasters.
The episode that Diamond Glass worked
on aired on BBC One on Wednesday 29 November 2006 and featured the
DIY SOS team travelling to Crawley to help two brothers renovate their
kitchen/diner. Daniel and Adam spent their last pennies buying their
first house and two years later the boys had still not moved in, despite
attempting to renovate and spending their remaining money on a
flat-pack kitchen which had already started to fall apart.
Diamond Glass provided the
materials and staff to fit new french doors and windows and the boys were delighted
with the result. We were proud to be associated with show
and are very pleased that our high standard of work has achieved
nationwide exposure.
