Charity Support

charity biekeathon by diamond glass of crawley west sussex Our support for Lukemia Research began in 2006 when we discovered that one of our employees had been diagnosed with leukaemia .

To raise money and awareness all the staff and directors of
Diamond Glass including friends, relatives and ex-staff members, took part in their first London Bikeathon

There were three routes. We chose the City Ride which is a 26 mile route starting from the Royal Hospital Chelsea. It takes in some of London's famous landmarks including the Tate Gallery, Royal Festival Hall, London Eye, the Dome, St Paul's Cathedral and Canary Wharf.
A total of 21 riders and 3 supporters set off and all riders returned in one piece although some in human jelly form!

We are still determined to raise as as much money as possible for this very important cause and continue to pedal the streets each year .
